We ship RECAP worldwide from Round Rock, Texas via USPS and DHL Express. Over 180 countries supported — just place your order and choose your shipping option at checkout.

Shipping Options

At checkout, you’ll see one or two shipping options depending on your country. Here’s what they mean:

USPS Standard International / Economy International

  • Delivery: 2–4 weeks typical, sometimes longer
  • Tracking: Full tracking in select countries (Canada, UK, Australia, Germany, and others). Limited tracking elsewhere — you’ll get a tracking number and departure scans, but updates stop once the package enters your country’s postal system
  • Insurance: Not included
  • Cost: Starting around $35 depending on destination

Priority Mail International (tracked & insured)

  • Delivery: 6–10 business days typical
  • Tracking: Full tracking to most countries with delivery confirmation
  • Insurance: Included — up to $100 coverage (covers the full value of RECAP)
  • Cost: Starting around $60–85 depending on destination

DHL Express

  • Delivery: 3–5 business days
  • Tracking: Full end-to-end tracking with DHL
  • Insurance: Included
  • Cost: Starting around $90
  • Available for: Select countries in Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East where USPS service is limited

Tracking: What to Expect

Every order gets a USPS or DHL tracking number emailed to you after shipment. Here’s the reality of how tracking works internationally:

Countries with full USPS tracking

Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom

In these countries, you’ll see tracking updates from pickup to delivery — similar to domestic US tracking.

Countries with limited USPS tracking

France, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Poland, Romania, and most other countries.

You’ll see tracking scans while the package is in the US (accepted, in transit, departed) and when it arrives at your country’s customs. After that, tracking updates depend on your local postal service — some update reliably, others don’t. The package is still moving; the tracking just can’t see it.

If you’re in a limited-tracking country, we strongly recommend choosing Priority Mail International at checkout. It has better tracking coverage and includes $100 insurance.


Insurance & Lost Packages

This is important — please read carefully.

Our responsibility ends when we hand your package to the carrier (USPS or DHL) and provide you with a tracking number. Once the carrier accepts the package, it is in their custody.

  • Economy / Standard International: No insurance included. If the package is lost or damaged in transit, there is no coverage. You may file a missing mail search request with USPS, but there is no guarantee of recovery or reimbursement.
  • Priority Mail International: Includes up to $100 insurance. If the package is lost or damaged, you can file an insurance claim with USPS. This covers the full $99 value of RECAP.
  • DHL Express: Includes insurance. Claims are filed through DHL.

If insurance matters to you, choose Priority Mail International or DHL Express at checkout. The Economy option is cheaper but carries the risk of no recovery if something goes wrong. That choice is yours to make.


Customs, Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country. These charges are not included in the shipping price and are your responsibility to pay upon delivery.

  • RECAP’s declared customs value is $99 USD
  • Customs description: “Audio recording accessory — consumer electronics”
  • We cannot mark packages as “gift” or reduce the declared value — this is against US export law

Most countries have a de minimis threshold below which no duties apply. For many EU countries this is €150, for the UK it’s £135, for Australia it’s AUD $1,000, and for Canada it’s CAD $20. Check your country’s import rules if you’re unsure.
